Gallstones

Gallstones are hard deposits that form in the gallbladder and can cause symptoms such as abdominal pain, vomiting, indigestion, and sometimes infection if they block the bile duct. When gallstones cause repeated pain or complications, surgery is the most effective treatment. The procedure, called cholecystectomy, involves removing the gallbladder to prevent further attacks and complications. Most gallbladder surgeries today are performed using the laparoscopic method, which is a minimally invasive technique. Small incisions are made in the abdomen, and a camera and surgical instruments are used to remove the gallbladder. This approach results in smaller scars, less pain, and faster recovery compared to open surgery. The surgery is performed under anesthesia, and patients usually stay in the hospital for 2–3 days. LASIK With Blade

Under topical anesthesia, the surgeon uses a microkeratome to create a precise corneal flap. The flap is lifted and the excimer laser removes microscopic tissue to reshape the cornea.
